What is Corporate Coaching? Broadly speaking, Sarah works with you and your teams to understand your key challenges and goals to help you increase effectiveness; identify strengths and development needs and drive the achievement of challenging goals.
Speaking about her style of coaching, Sarah said: “I work with individual leaders, senior teams and executive boards who are already good at what they do but want to become great!”
“To thrive, not just survive, it has become critical for businesses to create competitive advantage and outperform their competitors. This can be doneby maximising the effectiveness of people in your key strategic influencing roles. I help executive leaders and teams to clarify their vision, build trust and foster high performing teams. I also enable the leaders to become coaches themselves, which drives a high performance culture” she continued.
“The work with Sarah has been life changing. We now have a senior strategic team which is working much more effectively and it is critical to the future of our business. The work with Sarah has brought focus and alignment to the way our key strategic leaders work individually and with each other and the payback is astronomic.” Chief Executive – Financial Services
There are three main strands to Sarah’s Corporate Coaching although she tailors the services to suit each client’s needs.
1. One to one coaching:
Sarah provides One to One coaching sessions with executives to develop potential, personal effectiveness and leadership skills;
2. Workshops for senior teams:
Sarah designs Workshops or Leadership Programmes for Executive Teams to maximise their impact and increase their team working effectiveness, so that together they can drive achievement of the organisation’s goals.
3. Power of Love Leadership:
The third strand is a leadership development methodology that Sarah has developed herself. “The Power of Love Leadership is a way of working, to develop yourself and others, that focuses on how you can get more effective results by understanding how our behaviours are based upon love or fear.”
“Effective leadership starts on the inside, with your heart” Ken Blanchard (Author of the One Minute Manager)
The Power of Love Leadership is a methodology that can be used in One to One Coaching, Teams or Organisations to increase effectiveness and maximise performance.
“Fear is necessary for us to survive, but we tend to use it more than is needed. It shows itself in our day to day behaviours e.g. procrastination, staying within our comfort zone or ineffectively managing performance issues in our team.”
Sarah has also created the Power of Love Leadership (POLL) Programme which is an open leadership development programme providing 6 months of embedded and practical learning about how to further enhance your leadership. The POLL Programme combines learning leadership best practice with peers and working one to one with Sarah to receive her specialist personal impact coaching. The POLL Programme is unique because you also gain exclusive access to Sarah’s tried and tested principles of the Power of Love Leadership.
“Progressive organisations want to invest in their key employees because they have such a large influence upon the strategic direction of the business.”
What Sarah finds most challenging about her career as a coach is the time you have to take out of business to develop your business. She is continually developing her own skills and is currently writing a book, interviewing leaders about their leadership experiences.
Sarah would love to hear from leaders who would would be willing to help others by sharing their leadership experiences for her new book about the Power of Love Leadership.
